Review of Service
This Little League Team is fantastic. The coaches are very well-trained and skilled in dealing with children while harboring a team atmoshpere. Practices are once a week, and games are once a week, so it isn't as overbearing as some Little League Teams can be, and coaches, while encouraging to the children, don't push too hard and have unrealistic expectations of the children's abilities. At this point, the game is still fun, and not too competitive, as it can be in some Little League teams and atmospheres. The children are learning the skills associated with good sportsmanship, as well as the rules of the game in a positive atmosphere where everybody gets the instruction they need without being pushed beyond their means to succeed.
Tips
There are usually several Little League Teams in one given area. If you don't like one team, feel free to move on to another team. Sometimes coaches may have a style that doesn't mesh well with your child or children, and it can seem overwhelming and overbearing for small children, especially, who should learn to love the game first, and play second.
