the Price of Little League

I wanted to get make my child a little bit busier by getting him to do something that he would enjoy. He preferred baseball and hence after a bit of search, i zeroed in a particular little baseball league that charged $150 for 2 months. The games were held once in about ten days and practice matches were held twice a week. The fee included the price of a team jersey as well.

I believe that the outcome was well worth the price. The best thing is that my child really enjoyed what he was doing and also became very much interested in baseball. He has also developed some very good skills. The league also developed a sense of sportsmanship in my child. Also there was a lot of involvement on part of the parents of the children.

Never force the child into a sport just because you have an inclination towards that particular sport. The choice of the child should be the most important criteria. Br careful while selecting the league; keep in mind the current level of your child and get him into a league where he can easily gel with other players. Its better to get enrolled at the beginning of the league than joining mid way through the league.
