Description of service
It costs $65.00 for a follow up visit to a pediatric dermatologist. My daughter has severe eczema, which is extremely dry and itchy skin. We have to go every six months for a check up and to get prescriptions filled.
Review of Service
Although we've known that my daughters skin condition is eczema for a while, her dermatologist requires that we come in for a check up twice a year to see how the condition is progressing. My daughter is only four years old, so the doctor doesn't want to prescribe unnecessary medicine. The dermatologist is very friendly and the staff is great too. The visit was a quick check up with a few suggestions and we were finished. Before trying this dermatologist, I took my daughter to her pediatrician. He prescribed several cremes and medicines, which didn't help. The prescription that we get from the dermatologist really has reduced the dryness and itchiness of her skin. As a result, she is a happier child.
Tips
If you have issues with your skin and are having trouble finding the right treatment, I strongly recommend seeing a dermatologist. They can be rather expensive, but finding the right solution for your skin is worth the expense.
