the Price of a Pediatrician

I took my daughter, 4 months at the time to see her pediatrician for a wellness check up and the round of shots that all 4 month olds must get.  She evaluated my daughter for milestones and discussed feeding options as well.  They did a height and weight check as well as checking her hearing.

The service is great, but as in any busy doctor's office it is a little rushed. You don't have time to sit and chat so she answered questions consicely and thouroghly.  The nurses are the ones who do most of the work, checking height and weight and actually giving the shots.  Overall I would recomend my pediatrician as a good value.

I would recomend a parent write down any questions since it is a rushed enviroment so that you don't forget something important. Also check about their policy on lateness and cancelations.  You may have to pay anyway of you cancel to late and they may cancel your appointment and you would have to pay anyway if you are more than 15 minutes late.  Get to know the nurses in the office because if you call with questions they will most likely be the one you are talking too. Don't be afraid to ask questions though no matter how much of a hurry the doctor seems to be in. That is what you are paying them for.
