Description of service
This was a routine visit for a yearly checkup for my 2 years old daughter. The co-pay with our insurance was $10.
Review of Service
My daughter and son have both seen the same doctor since birth. He is great, very thorough in his exams and he really listens and answers any questions you may have. Both of my children love him and I also had him as a doctor when I was growing up, so I did not hesitate to take my children to him also. If the children are sick or need to be seen, they usually squeeze me in within just a few hours of the call. Overall I am very happy with him, he is never quick to prescribe a medication they may not really need. Too many doctors seem to overmedicate and rush into prescribing medications. They also have a physician's assistant on site to help with the work load and see children when they are sick on a moment's notice. When my daughter was sick in the emergency room, he did not hesitate to make a special trip to the ER to check on her and reassure me everything was going to be OK.
Tips
If I were to give someone advice on choosing a pediatrician it would be to make sure you're kids are comfortable around them. Also make sure that they are willing to take the time to discuss any concerns you may have. I would also choose someone who has flexible hours and can see your child on a short notice, especially when they are sick.
