the Price of a Pediatrician

This is the price paid for a routine well child visit with no vaccinations. This is the price before insurance. I personally paid $20 and my insurance covered $100. This included a weight check, height measurement, and a conversation with the pediatrician with any questions answered. This will also include the pediatrician checking your child's ears, nose and mouth, and listening to his or her heart and lungs. If there are any concerns about your child, they will check over that area of the body also.

I was very happy with my visit to the pediatrician. I felt it was well worth the money. She took a lot of time with me and my child and I did not feel rushed. My child was very comfortable with everything because the pediatrician talked directly to her and told her exactly what she was doing and why. I think she was very professional and I would highly recommend this service.

Find a pediatrician with at least 5 years experience. Interview at least 3 pediatricians before your child is born to ensure you find one you are comfortable with and can trust. Find out about after hours, and how available he or she will be if there is some type of emergency with your child. Go with your instinct- if you do not trust the pediatrician, find a new one.
