Description of service

I recieved a one hour long flower arranging lesson at a local craft store. It was taught in a large classroom with a group of about 15 women. Everyone was working on something a little different, so the insturctor went around to each person to give them instruction on what they were working on starting with those who were there for the first time to explain the basics. The price included the cost of the lesson and supplies used that day. I purchased the tools and the materials I would need for the project at the craft store before the lesson. The materials are sold as at a discounted price for class members and new materials have to be purchased everytime you finish a project. I did not include a gratuity.

Review of Service

I was not pleased with the quality of the lesson. The instructor was very knowledgable and the projects available to choose from were nice. However, the size of the class and the fact that everyone was working on different things meant that there was very little individual attention. Therefore, it might have been better to just work on it myself at home. However, it was fun to have other people there to be able to socialize.

Tips

I did not know that there would be so little individual attention. Although the classes are fun, if you want to save money on the lessons, I would suggest saving the money on the classes and just buying a book, or using the internet to work on it yourself. I think the lessons are much more helpful than a good book.
