Description of service

The service included a two-hour class where we were instructed as to how to make different types of pottery and how to manipulate the clay. The price paid for the class and also involved the clay and other materials that we worked with. After an hour of instruction, we were given an hour for our own use to make what we specifically wanted. The class included one instructor who helped the class the entire time.

Review of Service

The class was great, and it helped me become more knowledgeable about how to effectively make pots and other things using molding clay. The instructional hour was very useful and helped make the second half of the class much more enjoyable. The class was very hands-on, which was fun for an artistic person like me, and I feel that I really gained something from going through the class. The reason I enjoyed the class, however, is because I have an inclination to become better at arts and crafts. These types of classes are pretty straightforward; if you enjoy arts and crafts, then you will likely enjoy a class like this. I enjoy learning how to make things, and this lesson allowed me to find new ways of adding handmade decoration to my home.

Tips

One tip I have is to find an arts and crafts class that will allow you to have some free time to experiment. While instructions are important to initially learning how to do the process, having free time to experiment under supervision lets you learn at your own pace.
