When I got into an accident a year ago I was hit from behind and the whole back of my car was ruined. When I brought my car in to get an estimate on a new bumper I was told 300. After the repair was complete it was up to 400, they said that I needed a special kind of bumper for my car. After taxes the final price ended up being about 460.
Review of Service
After the repair of my bumper I started hearing a lot of rattling coming from the back of my car. Now i figured it was just from the accident but I brought it back anyway. It turned out they didn't cut the bumper properly and it was shaking on the back of my car. So now I have to argue on why I paid for a "special bumper that didn't even fit onto my car. Bottom line is I finally got a discount and my bumper was fixed.
Tips
One tip I will give anyone would be to shop around a little and make sure you are not getting scammed with a "special" bumper or you aren't getting charged extra fees for no apparent reason. All in all not a fun experience.
