Description of service

This train was located in a local zoo and aquarium and you had to pay the $10.00 ($5.00 each) for the train ride in addition to any fees to get into the zoo itself. The train ride lasted about 30 minutes and took you through their entire North American exhibit. You got to go behind the scenes so to speak, as the tracks take you on a completely different route than the walking trails in the zoo do. There are parts of the zoo where the train takes you that you would never know were even there from the walkways.

Review of Service

I loved this train tour. It was really neat to see the animals from completely different angles and also get to see areas that you simply cannot see at all any other way. The extra $10.00 for us to go was well worth it. I also liked that the train was open air and had nothing but bench seats, so there was plenty of room to sit and move around. I also liked that the train moved slow enough that you could take pictures still.

Tips

I would definitely suggest this for anyone going to this zoo. Its worth the money and its also a nice break from being on your feet. The train is first come first served, so you will want to get there before they are due to take off. It is also popular with kids, so be prepared for noise not relaxation.
