Description of service
Escorted Train tour on West Coast from Chicago to Seattle via North Dakota (2206 miles in total). The scenic journey covered North and Pacific Northwest of the United States with attractions like - Mississippi River, Columbia River Gorge, Glacier National Park, Rocly Mountains etc. Also included hotel accomodations, meals on train, and local trolley loops.
The baggage was mostly checked. It has non smoking areas on the train.
Review of Service
It was a good experience travelling with this hugely popular train operator. The meals were quite good, hotel accomodations were reasonable and the escorts were knowledgable about the attractions and pointed out various details as we passed through. Good care was taken to group passengers and it was nice to be looked after. The Chicago Skyline tour was magnificent and quite enlightning. The
Tips
Do not tip regularly, one generous tip towards the end of the tour will be mush more appreciated. Research weather and pack accordingly. Be prepared for spending money on food outside the train. Also, be considerate of your fellow passengers and dont play loud music or talk loudly in early morning or late night times. Also remember, you have to pay extra for bedroom sleeping, by default they include Roomette sleeper accomodations only.
