Description of service
After I had graduated from a Technical school, they had told me that they would help me to try and find a job through their career services department, but this was not the case. They didn't work hard and never processed any leads to help me find a job. So, I took to the state of Ohio to see what types of programs they offered and to my surprise, they offered general career training and job placement for the low price of twenty five dollars per month at the county family and job resources center. I was amazed because not only did they teach you general skills like how to type and add numbers, but they also taught you how to dress for success and gave you leads on jobs that you could do in the community to help better your current situation. Once a month, they also had social mixers to boost morale.
Review of Service
The services were awesome and taught by corporate professionals who really had a grasp on the way things work in the real world and the different job skills that you would need to enter the market today. Many of the teacher also informed us of job openings in their companies and helped to set up interviews for many of us.
Tips
Don't be afraid to turn to the city for a program to help you succeed. If you don't try, you can never move ahead.
