Description of service
My son has just begun technical college auto mechanic associates degree training. He has to pay this amount for 2 times a regular school year and an amount for the summer school. It is very hard to understand how much really. There are scholarships and grants but how You get all the information in a line and know exactly what it amounts to is difficult to understand and harder to describe.
Review of Service
When he signed up we did a fafsa application online that took a bit of time. We soon found out he didn't really qualify for anything but the tech college did explain that everyone is qualified for the education lottery grant. That took off 900 for the first chunk which helped a lot. We didn't realize that we had to buy such expensive books but hey I guess he owns them now. They were over 160.00 then he also needed tools that in itself is another story.
Tips
Be prepared to pay and pay, or so it seems. :) There is quite a bit of support a parent will need to be able to take on if a child goes to college technical or otherwise. After all how do they get gas money to and from college or keep the vehicle going much less. Even if they work you know they can hardly pay the bills they do have much less the insurance on the car.
