the Price of Career Training

I took a class to upgrade my education level for drafting and electrical design. The class cost included materials and online learning that was completed over the course of approximately a month. I was able to complete the course at my leisure, however, I could not go at my own pace. Somethings had to be reviewed and completed over a specific time period. I am a drafter, but this class brings my rating up to the level of some engineers. Upon completion of the class, I was able to take the test that gives me an additional rating.

This class was well put together and I learned some new information. For the most part, in my work I use this information regularly and I feel it has really enhanced my understanding of my area. It has also given me more clients because I passed the test that raised my rating. I am able to charge a higher fee for my services as well. I am well pleased with the result of taking the additional training to upgrade my status.

It is always a good idea to take classes in your field. Your profession will always be enhanced by education and endorsements that are concrete and can be listed on your resume are a plus.
