I purchased a training package that included distance learning courses for Nutrition and Personal Training certifications along with classroom study to complete my training as a fitness trainer. This package included DVD's, books, pre-testing manuals, and weekend seminar as well as the testing for the certification. The package came quickly and with numbers as well as online contact for customer service in the event that I needed help.

It also came with a list of upcoming weekend seminar locations and testing sites along with dates for these events. I also was able to get real hands on training through the apprenticeship program that they have.

I feel like I got a great service that was affordable, easy to understand and thorough. I liked the break down of the subjects and the layout of the books. The DVD's were designed to correspond with the chapters in the manual and did so with ease. I think that having a better pretest would be nice or maybe having one online would be a good idea.

Research the company you are considering to make sure they are nationally recognized and accredited. Most companies will only accept your certification through credible companies. Make sure that hands on experience are a part of the program. You can not learn everything from a book since each individual is different.
