Description of service
I recently took my car to the dealership because it was making this screeching sound. I assumed, from past experience, that I needed new brake pads and that would be it. Boy was I wrong. When I got there, the mechanic looked over the car and told me that my calipers had frozen and ate up brakes and rotors! I have worked with this mechanic many times on this car and he has never been dishonest with me. I just waited too long to bring it in, and that was my fault--hence the large price. They fixed/replaced all they needed too. I got the car back at the end of the day (took a shuttle to work and they picked me up too).
Review of Service
As usual, I was happy with the service provided by this location. They got my car back to me in a day's time and I did not have to miss any work due to their shuttle service. They had all the parts they needed and the car drives great now. NO SCREECHING!
Tips
My biggest tip is to get the car in the SECOND you hear any weird noise. I had been through this with other cars and it always just turned out to be bad break pads, so I stupidly waited and caused a lot more damage to happen and that cost me LOTS more money than just new break pads.
