the Cost of General Auto Repair

I took my car to the repair shop as it was leaking some kind of fluid and I had no clue what it could be. The steering seemed to be affected also. I had the car towed to a shop that I trust. I fully expected them to tell me that I needed a new engine or something like that. I figured it would cost me more than the car was worth. I left it and he called me later in the day and was honest and told me that the power train needed to be replaced and it was about $500.00 less than I expected. Being a female, and not having advice from anyone, he could have told me anything and I would have done it to get the car back on the road. But he only fixed what he felt needed to be fixed.

They were so honest with me and the man treated me like I was his daughter. He told me what he would do if it was his. They were fast and friendly and because the repairs were so much less than I anticipated, I ended up having new tires put on the vehicle (which were sorely needed also). He did not try in any way to sell me these tires. It was totally my idea.

If you dont get a good feeling the minute you walk in the door, then take your vehicle elsewhere. If you are female and you get the look like he knows you dont know a thing about cars, then go elsewhere.
