Description of service
Last summer, my car started to lose its ability to blow out cold air from the AC unit. I first took the car to one place and they tested and diagnosed the problem and estimated the cost for $$600! They said they would need to replace the evaporator core and some of the pipes and that nothing else would fix the problem! I had to get a second opinion at this point.
On a whim I took the car to a newer repair center, which is located right near where I go to school. I was really in fear the entire time, as I didn't have $600 to waste. They recommended that I replace the accumulator and add some freon. The cost was only a fraction of what the first place was going to fix, and fix incorrectly at that. They won me over.
Review of Service
The service was diagnosing and fixing my cars air conditioning problem correctly. This place is unlike most auto repair centers. The lobby is clean and very well maintained. TVs, magazines, coffee and refreshments, and games/toys to occupy young children. Not to mention their mechanics guide the customers into the garage to look at their repairs and explain to them the process. Top notch really.
Tips
Do not assume a business knows what they are doing. Get a second opinion if at all possible!
