Description of service
I paid to have my rear end bumper removed and replaced. Between the garage service charge, taxes, and repair the total came to be about $1500.00.
Review of Service
After I got rear ended on the road, I called my insurance company and they recommended several good companies for looking at my car and doing an estimate on the repair. I did not think that there was much damage but when I had several auto repair companies take a more thorough look at my car, they informed me that the bumper would have to be replaced. They said that it had been too badly damaged in the frame to just bend it back and sand it. The company was somewhat helpful in explaining what they would do and how much the services would cost. The one good thing about it is that they worked very quickly. I thought it would take several days but they did it within a day and a half. They were prompt in there service and let me know as soon as my car was ready for pick up. When I got there I did have to wait awhile because there seemed to be only one person working with several customers in the entire office. But once I was helped I was done quickly and had an overall understanding of what was done to my vehicle.
Tips
Make sure you shop around, even if insurance is covering the costs, to get the most knowledgeable, helpful, and quickest service.
