Description of service
After being in an automobile accident that was not our fault, we had to have the entire driver's side door replaced, as that was the point of impact and they could not just replace the panel. The insurance of the guilty party paid for all of it, but I had to sign off on the total. I got a free rental, so that was good, but I had to wait two weeks to get my car back due to dealing with the insurance's suggested repair shop. They had to order the door and for some reason it took two weeks to get it to their shop.
Review of Service
I would never recommend this repair shop to anyone who has a choice. My guess is that they stay in business through insurance claims that are passed their way by the insurance company. They must be cheap is all I know. They were rude and seemed really ignorant of my make and model of car. Once the door was installed it squeaked when opened and closed until the day I got rid of it and the color never did fully match the rest of my vehicle (white!).
Tips
When the accident is not your fault, be prepared to not be 100% satisfied with the results. I tried to get things fixed, but was denied unless I wanted to pay for it myself. Do not be afraid to ask, but just be prepared to follow the leader when it comes to getting your car paid. You may have better options depending on the insurance carrier, but unfortunately when it is someone else's fault, you do not get to chose their insurance carrier.
