Review of Service
We dropped the truck off on Monday morning, and were told it would be finished by Tuesday. We got a call early Tuesday morning that the truck was finished, and ready to be picked up. My husband is a mechanic, but drives a truck now, so didn't have time to do this himself. He checked everything else out to see if they would try and scam him into other non-essential repairs. He said that we have a loose tie rod. When they called for us to pick the truck up, the service manager mentioned that there was some play in the tie rod, just as my husband had noted.
All in all, the experience was quite painless, the staff was courteous, and the facility was well kept.
Tips
Always get an estimate! If you don't know about vehichles, get two different estimates, get a printout of the parts they think you need, ect. check with an auto parts store so you have an idea of the cost of the parts. Make sure you insist on authorizing all work.
Take your valuables out of your vehicle when you drop it off, and check your mileage!
