Late last year I had to take my 2001 Chevrolet Impala to the mechanic's shop to have the front brake pads and rotors replaced. I went to my usual mechanic in Chesapeake, Ohio and got new pads and rotors put on for about $180. I dropped my car off in the early morning, and was able to pick it up later that day in the afternoon.
Review of Service
I use this mechanic because he is cheap, and he takes care of my car as if it were his own. The receptionist is always nice, and they never get my car dirty. I have gone to other mechanic shops and they either get my car dirty, or scratch the paint. Also, this mechanic get the job done quickly. Their shop is a little out of the way, so they don't get much business and are able to take care of me quickly. Overall, i'd say this is the best place to have your car fixed in my area.
Tips
Call around to find the best deal. Even if you have to drive a little out of the way, you could end up saving hundreds of dollars. You can also check with the dealership, they always have top of the line service, but you usually end up paying a lot more.
