Description of service
I had the back brakes done on the Impala. The cost of service included labor and all parts to do the back brakes only, not the front.
Review of Service
The service was great. They got it into the shop bay when they said they would, did the job in the estimated amount of time. The shop had a nice waiting room with TV, coffee and donuts. The rest rooms were spotless. The service manager was nice and the cashier was very nice as well. The price was a lot lower than the Chevy shop, and they guarantee the work and parts.
Tips
1. Call around before you decide where to take it! I had first called the Chevy shop, and got the price to have the job done there. My Chevy dealer guy was very nice and said that I could get the same job at another shop for less, he would not refer me though. So I called around and got a price from the independent mechanic shop in town. The price was better, but they could not get it in right away. I called the franchise muffler and brake shop and found they had the best price and could do it the next morning.
2. Ask what type of warranty and guarantee comes with the service.
3. Ask how often they run behind schedule, this is important if you plan to wait for the car.
