Description of service
I paid to have an electrical computer sensor replaced after it had gone out freezing my power steering system and preventing my car from cranking up.
Review of Service
The service was alright, it took 2 days and cost what I felt was an unreasonable amount of money. The car was bought new just over a year before from the same dealer who repaired it and was only about three thousand miles out of warranty but they would not honor it and I had to pay. I felt like it was a rip off but I just wanted my car fixed.
Tips
I would recomend buying the extended warranty because dealers are not going to fix something if it goes wrong even five miles after the factory warranty expires. And all new cars have complex computer systems now so if one small thing goes wrong it can cost you a bundle to fix and your car may not work at all without it. After having my car fixed I found out the there have been problems with that particular vehicle and these sensors but they have not tried to do a recall so look into it well before you shell out a bundle to fix problem, you may come out better to trade off a lemon.
