Description of service
The Transmission had to be completely redone, cleaned, refurbished and some parts replaced. They did tow the car in to work on it and give me a ride home while they worked. Also the initial diagnostic of what the problem was.
Review of Service
They were very nice. They had popcorn and coffee for free in the waiting room and drove me home. They also had a few toys in the waiting room for families with kids. It took several days to get done. It was expensive but cheaper than buying another car. They itemized the costs of labor and parts ect. There was no extra charge for the ride and everyone was friendly and good at explaining things. They also vacuumed out the inside of the car, maybe someone made a mess and they had to clean it up but might be part of the service. They did put seat covers in so they did not get the car seats greasy.
Tips
I would get a diagnosis of the problem then call a few places. See also if it costs more to fix or replace before deciding on which to do. It could cost more to replace a transmission but sometimes will cost more to fix it.
