I went for a checkup. The doctor that I have chosen to go to, only charges $120.00 for the first initial visit, and just a mere $55.00 for any visits there after. You may go see him for any type of problem, from a headache, to the flu, he covers just about everything. I didn't have insurance, and he was the best priced doctor for general medical practice in my area. This cost will cover your visit, but if you require blood work, or any other test you may be required to pay more, it really just depends, if it can be done in the office he usually doesn't charge extra. On most of my visit's to the doctor, they take my temperature, my weight, and my blood pressure before the Doctor ever comes in.
Review of Service
Every one at the place I go to is great. They are very prompt, efficient, and thorough. My Doctor is also wonderful, he is very caring, clear, and well spoken. He also knows that I don't have insurance too, so he always writes my prescriptions accordingly, which helps out a great deal. My doctor's office is always clean, and there are plenty of magazines to read, which really helps to pass the time.
Tips
When I was looking to find a Doctor, it was important for me to find one close by, and economical. When you find one you like stay with them, it's a good idea to build a history with a particular doctor in order to receive personalized care. Always let them know upfront that you don't have insurance, also tell the doctor directly, it may help with prescription costs.
