This visit was for cold like symptoms. I went to our family doctor. It was for the cost of the visit only. No tests were ordered on this visit.
Review of Service
The wait time was a little long. We waited about one and a half hours to see the actual doctor. The doctor was very polite and began his exam. Checking the ears, nose and throat very thoroughly. Stopping in between to explain what he was looking for and also what he saw. He was professional and soon had found the problem. Upon writing us a prescription for a common antibiotic we were on our way.
Tips
When choosing a doctor be sure to talk to family and friends. If you do not have insurance call a few doctors in your area and ask that what the visit costs. I know in my area the difference in the price of the visit can be over a hundred dollars! If you do have insurance, be sure to find a doctor you feel comfortable with and that takes the time to thoroughly check into your problems. If you ever feel rushed or mistreated, it's time to get a new doctor. Don't stay at the same old doctor just because your Aunt Joan goes there. Sometimes we must move along to find better and newer treatments.
