the Price of Doctors

One morning when I awoke, it felt as if my throat was swollen shut. It was so painful to swallow, and I felt like I had a fever. I called a doctors office that was located real close to my house, and they made a same day appointment for me to come in. I went to the appointment, they called me back as soon as I was done filling out the paper work. The nurse came in and took my weight, blood pressure reading, and my temperature, and left out of the room. Ten minutes later she returned with the doctor. He felt my neck, looked in my ears, looked at my throat, and said that I had the strep throat. He wrote me three prescriptions, and excused me from work for the next two days.

I was very grateful that they were able to make a same day appointment. I was also impressed with how nice, and clean the whole place was kept. The doctor and his staff were very caring, and sympathetic. My doctor was able to diagnose me in about five minutes, he was older, and very experienced.

I prefer to use smaller, more simple doctor offices. I feel as if they are more personal. Also make sure to tell them of all of your symptoms.
