My Air Conditioning went wrong in my car and it was releasing stale air and also there was problem with the cooling it wasn't effective so i took it to a certified workshop. They told me that the air filter and the gas tank has some problem which need to be repaired and some parts need to be replaced. He gave me the breakup as Rebuilt Compressor - $170, Labor - $135, Freon Refil - $32, TAX - $21.91.
Review of Service
I would rate the overall quality of services that were received as excellent. After a brief phone conversation that explained the nature of the problem, I was told that I could take my car to his shop so he could start working on it as soon as possible. The only delay in the entire process was a phone call a little while later explaining that they didn't have a part that was needed and that they would have to order it from a local supplier. Even though they didn't receive the part until more than 2 hours later, They still managed to finish all of the work that same day. So far, it seems to be holding up quite well with about 3 weeks left on my guarantee.
Tips
The best advice that I could give to anyone shopping around for a service, especially this one, is to consult various dealers on the problem so that you get the best deal.
