Description of service
After wondering aloud about the popping noise heard coming from the front of my car, I got a ton of people more than happy to inform me that it was the CV joints. I was able to take my vehicle to a small Mom and Pop type mechanic who specialized in foreign autos and my car is now driving as good as new (well, almost).
Review of Service
The service I received was very quick and sincere. I was given the option to use low, medium or higher grade parts, along with the pros and cons of each level of spending. In the end, I went with the higher grade (more expensive) parts since the original CV Joints lasted over 150,000 miles and I'm hoping the new ones After dropping the car off on my way to work and "hitching" a ride, my spouse picked me up on my lunch break and we retrieved my Nissan; I had already grown so accustomed to the popping noise that I thought something was wrong when it was so silent.
Tips
If you don't have a dealership for your particular auto in your town, ask around and find out which mechanics or shops specialize in the automobiles closest in relation to yours.
