Description of service
New aftermarket drilled brake rotors and semi-metallic brake pads on all 4 wheels. Had the parts ordered in and installed in a little over an hour. It's an upgrade over the stock brakes that I had before and turned out to be cheaper than if I had gone to the dealership to do the work.
Review of Service
Excellent service. I dropped it off and they did a full walk around. I like it when they inspect the vehicle and note any pre-existing damage and then I sign for it. It covers us both. An hour or so later I got a call that my car was done!
Tips
I knew a bit about what I wanted going into this. I'm a car person so I knew what parts I wanted and had already researched prices online. If you ever go to get service done for your car know the prices of the parts first! This will tell you how much they're really charging you for labor. Mechanics rates are usually negotiable too! But a good reputation is worth a lot to me also. Also, always ask if you're getting factory replacements or aftermarket replacements. Aftermarket sometimes is better quality, sometimes worse quality. Knowing your parts is more important than knowing your mechanic.
