Description of service
Our Jeep needed rear brakes and rotors due to inefficient braking and noises occurring while braking. We went to the station and our mechanic took a test ride in our Jeep Liberty and told us the car needed rear brakes and rotors. We left the Jeep there for repair.
Review of Service
Our mechanic took our car at 9 am in the morning and assessed the repairs needed and told us it was the rear brakes and rotors. He called us with a price and we agreed. He had the car fixed and we picked it up by noon. This was a quick, easy transaction, and the car is running perfectly. The price for the rear brakes and rotors and labor was very reasonable after research on prices in our area for this service.
Tips
First of all, brakes are obviously very important and if needed, get them checked out each year. Secondly, I would say before you accept a price from mechanics for brakes or any other service, do your research online (as on this or a similar website) to make sure that you are paying at least average price on your service. We did this before accepting the price our mechanic gave us. We don't know much about cars/maintenance prices, so sites like these empower us to make good choices when paying for a service.
