Description of service
After hearing some grinding from the front wheels of my Jeep, I took it into a repair shop. The mechanics took a look and told me I needed new brakes. However, I also needed new rotors, due to the fact that the brakes were so worn out it started to damage the rotors as I braked. The mechanics replaced the front two rotors and replaced the front and the back brakes.
Review of Service
The service overall was good. At first I thought the mechanics were trying to scam me. I thought that replacing the front rotors were unnecessary. However, they took me back into the shop and showed me how damaged they were and explained what would happen if i put new brakes on without replacing the rotors. I do feel like I overpaid for the services, but I wanted them fixed as soon as possible and would rather be safe then sorry.
Tips
First I would say not to buy a Jeep Wrangler! I have had all types of problems with it since i have bought it. I have been the only person to ever drive it yet it gives me tons of problems. I initally bought it because it was a fun car, and if it did have problems the parts would be cheap to replace. Cheap is a relative term since I seem to be in the shop every other month!!
