Description of service
I went in for a gas smell coming from an unknown area of my car when sitting at lights. When I called the local dealer they were able to get my Pontiac in the next day. I was given a quote and told I probably needed the 50,000 mile items checked or replaced like the injector system, fuel system, and hoses taken care of at the same time. Once the car was in they quickly found I didn?t have any front brakes. With my permission they replaced my brakes also.
Review of Service
The car went in at 9:00am and was delivered to my place of business by 5:00 pm. The workmanship was flawless and I feel very fortunate the dealership was able to see that I had no front brakes. Safety is important. I am on a strict budget and honored the estimate plus the additional cost for my brakes that I authorized.
Tips
I really believe in going back to the dealership for service repairs. In the past I have used side business?s and felt I was being treated right until another problem happens that could have been avoided if I had gone to the dealership in the first place. The dealerships usually will have the parts required and expertise to work on your vehicle. In the long run you end up saving money and time.
