Description of service
I paid for the diagnosis and repair of a strange noise coming from the passenger side of the front of the vehicle. The cost included a front end alignment of the vehicle, a new right front wheel bearing, and other various front end adjustments, all parts and labor. They didn't try to up sell or take advantage of me in any way, shape, or form. Most of the cost incurred was for labor, because the repair process was labor intensive rather than part intensive.
Review of Service
The person who took initial receipt of my car was an extremely personable and kind individual. He recognized me from previous times at that particular dealership, and was welcoming and eager to solve my problem. Additionally, he was very knowledgeable about what the repair would probably entail after hearing about the noise and the performance of the vehicle. I left my vehicle with the dealer and went home with my wife. The Pontiac dealer called me to confirm various aspects of the repair of my car throughout the process, and kept me informed every single step of the way. They assured me a one day time line for the repairs necessary, and wholly delivered on their promise. I had my car back the next day, with the problem completely fixed. The problem has not recurred and it has been approximately two weeks since the incident.
Tips
Make sure you get your car in as soon as a problem arises so they can properly fix it in the least amount of time possible.
