Description of service
The service included repair or replacement of the non functioning power windows of the vehicle and also checking of the internal electric wiring of some parts in the vehicle as this fault had been repeated within a year. It included replacement of the control of power windows in all four windows and also one switch replacement and some other minor parts including pulleys and all. This was done at a toyota dealership. It included parts + labor.
Review of Service
The problem had recurred after replacing the system during my warranty period just after a few months of use. As it is my primary car, the car had to be delivered back within a time period, which was honored very well and the car was ready before that. After initial checkup the mechanic called me up to inform about all the problems that may be causing this failure and gave me a rough estimate and time period. He also serviced the car (basic) free of cost along with the replacement service.
Tips
Always make sure your power windows are functional or it becomes easy for a carjacker to steal your car. Always go to company service centres, as others may charge you for parts they may not have replaced. As in my case if your complaint is a recurring one then make sure more check-up of the car is made to rule out other defects like wiring, etc. Ask for discounts in these times, I asked for a free service and I was given one.
