Review of Service
The service was good. I was in an accident last Wednesday, the 28th of January, and the damage to the truck was extensive. The repair shop was kind and thoughtful when dealing with me, as well as sensitive about my needs regarding having the truck towed into the shop to be repaired. They have been fair as far as pricing goes, and very thorough, checking every major component of the truck since I was in a front-end collision. The airbags went off, and also need to be replaced and re-calibrated, which is normally a much more expensive job than what the shop is charging me for the repairs.
Tips
Find a good mechanic before something goes wrong so you will know if you are getting raked over the coals or not. It is best to have a trusted person to go to for repairs prior to needing them, so you are not so vulnerable to some vultures. Don't be afraid to get a second opinion on work you are having done, and feel free to say no if you think you are being taken advantage of. It also helps to have somebody who knows cars come along with you to the shop to be sure you aren't being had.
