Description of service
This is the price we paid to have the battery terminals replaced on our 1995 Ford Windstar Minivan. The price was for all aspects of the repair including the parts, labor, diagnostic fees, and taxes. The repair took less than one day to complete.
Review of Service
We had just replaced the battery in our minivan, yet the car continued to behave as though the battery needed to be charged or replaced. It turned out that the battery terminals were severely corroded after years of basic wear and tear. We thought the price to have this repair performed was extremely reasonable. Although the parts for theis repair were not very expensive, the labor cost was quite inexpensive compared to other labor fees we have paid in the past. The mechanic was friendly and helpful and we felt like he was very honest with us.
Tips
Ask your friends and family if they know of a reputable mechanic in your area. Also, if you already have a mechanic you have used in the past that you trust, continue to use this same mechanic! After this repair, our other car had a small window problem and we went to a different mechanic. We ended up paying $300 in labor costs!
