Description of service
I came out to my car to go to work one morning, and when I would try to turn the key over to start it, it wouldn't start. It sounded like it wanted to start, sort of like I was out of gas. I called around out of the phone book to locate the closest mechanic shop, to keep the tow price down. I found a place that would tow my car for free, if it were less than ten miles away, which was great. They sent someone out to tow my car within a few hours. The mechanic said that he would look it over and give me a call to discuss the repair. After about 2 hours, he called and said it was the fuel pump. They were going to need 6 hours to fix it and $480.00.
Review of Service
I was very impressed in how prompt this mechanic shop was. I don't know if they were just slow or what, but they picked up my car, and had it diagnosed within 4 hours. They actually had to keep it over night and the whole next day, but I know it takes some time to fix things the right way.
Tips
I would suggest calling around for prices before you go, every one charges a different price for labor per hour. The average rate is about $65.00 per hour.
