Description of service
I got in my Ford Explorer to take my son to school the other morning and it would not start. It was completely dead, the engine would not even turn over. We called a tow truck and had the Explorer towed to the local dealer. Since it is still under warranty, we take the truck to the dealer to have it worked on. The mechanics there, determined that a wire to the starter was bad and had to be replaced. The cost for everything was one-hundred dollars since it is still under warranty.
Review of Service
The quality of service we received was excellent. The dealers mechanics were very thorough and quick, which I think is a great combo. I feel really comfortable taking the Explorer to the dealer because I feel like I can trust them and they know what they are doing. I have no complaints about the service. I think it was a great value for the price and am really glad we are still under warranty otherwise it might have cost a lot more money.
Tips
I would tell anyone who needed the same type of service to make sure to take their vehicle to a reputable mechanic that can be trusted. In addition, if your warranty has expired, think about buying an extended warranty; it really is worth it.
