Description of service
So the old ford decided to break down on the road. Turned out a new transmission was needed. The total cost was set to be 2000.00 dollars total. This included about 800 for labor. The 1200.00 dollars would be a replacement transmission which was used, and a forty dollar tow fee. If not repaired however, it would be 40 bucks received to junk the vehicle.
Review of Service
At first the employees of this service were friendly and quite helpful. They were keen on getting the car off the road and to the shop. This is where the quality of the service fell apart. They needed to tow the car which took them about four hours to come and get. Then they tell me of the tow fee. Upon going to the shop the mechanics were ignorant toward me. They assumed I had no knowledge of cars. The service itself was reliable and convenient in my situation which was good. However the way customers are treated is quite poor. I was dissatisfied with the service as a whole. It was apparent the prices were too high, but under the circumstances nothing else could be done.
Tips
If you are ever stranded try to find a known name service place. The local ones just don't seem to be fair. If I had known how badly I would be treated upon arriving at this one I would not have gone.
