Description of service
My daughter's car was broken, again, and we needed to have it looked at. This time the passenger side tire was wobbling while the car was in motion. We took it to the mechanic who said my daughter must have ran over a curb because the inner tire rod was broken and needed to be replaced. I was quoted "about $100" to have it fixed, but the final price ended up being just $75.
Review of Service
It's nice to have an honest mechanic to fix your vehicles. Even though I was okay with the $100 quote, my mechanic charged me less because less work was needed to fix the issue. I made my daughter come with me, and she wasn't harrassed or bothered by going at all. The mechanic had the car fixed and back on the road in about two hours time. Normally it would have taken longer, but they didn't have much work on that day. Overall it was a great learning exerpience for my daughter.
Tips
Finding a good mechanic is very important. You want one that will give you a good deal, and do good work. If you know someone that is good with fixing cars, you can usually get a family member to fix it at a very much lower price. You can also usually find instructions on how to fix anything on a car online.
