Description of service
Our dishwasher suddenly quit, in the middle of a cycle. We had had no problems with it, and in fact, it was only about a year and a half old. So we called the repair center listed and they scheduled a technician to come out and take a look at it. The technician came out and ran a diagnostic test to determine that one of the elements had shorted out. He replaced it at that time, and it has run beautifully ever since. He charged us for the service call, but not the part, as that was under warranty. It took about an hour or a little more.
Review of Service
We had to wait about a week for a technician to be available in our area. Apparently we were on the edge of the service zone and that made it difficult for them to put someone out on our call. Once they came, they did an efficient job and took care of the problem right away. The technician was knowledgeable and did not waste time chatting. He was able to find the problem in the first few minutes and we were thankful he had the appropriate part and time to take care of it right away. Overall, we were very pleased with the process and the company.
Tips
Make sure you have your warranty and receipt information on hand. They need it when you call in the problem. Having the model number and serial number was also helpful.
