Description of service
The total cost for parts and labor to have my dishwasher repaired was $160.00. The initial service call charge was $50.00, two hours labor cost $80.00, and $30.00 for parts.
Review of Service
The service was excellent. The technician was prompt and professional. He called before leaving to make sure that someone was home. Once there, the diagnosis and repair took him a little over two hours. He cleaned up after himself as well, and moved the furniture that needed to be moved. Overall I was pleased. My only complaint is that it was fairly expensive. The fee for the technician to just come out and look at the problem was $50. But this was a problem that I knew I could not fix myself.
Tips
1. Always call the company engineers for the repair work rather than calling external mechanic, they maybe a little expensive but their work is authentic and calling external mechanic is also against the warranty policy.
2. Ensure the persons are genuine and see their company ID's before letting hem in.
I suggest getting extended warranties for home appliances. They usually cost a fraction of the cost of having to pay for having the appliance repaired. Getting someone that you trust to do maintenance work in your home is also a good idea.
