Because the repair was actually covered under a warranty, it didn't cost me anything. I got a repairman from the retail store I had purchased it, he came out within 24 hours, loaded down with parts, just in case it wasn't what he thought the error was.

The service was excellent! I couldn't believe that a warranty repairman came so quickly, I figured I'd have to wait for at least a week! The service was excellent, the repairman was well trained and told me exactly how the problem occurred, what I could do to avoid it in the future, and even gave me a few tips on how to get my dishes cleaner! Considering it was free, I couldn't ask for a better price!!
Tips
Well, obviously, I would suggest purchasing a warranty. That aside, if you don't have one, shop around! Don't just hire the first person you land on in the yellow pages, shop around, make phone calls, and do price comparisons. Sometimes what they think is a simple problem isn't, so you want to know you won't get slammed with a huge bill if the error isn't what the phone person assumed. Also ask what is covered under the blanket price, and what will cost extra.
