Description of service
The repairman came to our house and fixed our dishwasher. We scheduled the appointment and he came out within the time frame we had set up. He unpacked his tools and went to work. The problem was figured out fairly quickly and it was simple, but it involved replacing a couple of parts while he had it apart, so it got expensive. It was not parts that were under warranty, as we had hoped. He replaced the parts, then put the dishwasher through a short diagnostic cycle to make sure it was working properly once it was all done.
Review of Service
The repairman did what we asked him to do. He came on time and wasn't here all day. On the down side, it was not under warranty, which the person on the phone assured me it probably would be, so that was a disappointment. The good thing was, he had the parts with him and it was easy to fix, so we didn't have to wait for another appointment. Our dishwasher is built in, so it was a little bit of a chore getting it out and back in and it has been out of alignment with the rest of the cabinets ever since. I guess we need to remedy that ourselves, though because I will not get them to come out again for that.
Tips
Check the warranty information yourself and don't leave that up to the company. For one thing, they don't really know until they get to your house, what you will need or what it will cost.
