Description of service
The dishwasher was not getting started and I thought it may need a part replaced or just a check up. I contacted someone straight out of the phone book. The service I received was a certified repairman come over to my house to find out what was wrong with my dishwasher. He had to find the problem as well as fix what was causing the water to not come out. He took about an hour and I gave him a 10 dollar tip for his time. The rest of what I was charged was for the labor as well as cost of the parts to fix the problem.
Review of Service
The part repaired was a circuit kind of a thing, the mechanic said that the water had burnt it down so he soldered some new connections and put some new parts in it and it was set to work. Th service was quick and the mechanic seems to have good knowledge of machine.
Tips
Ask about the company's schedule of fees for labor at the time you place the service call. Some charge by the hour, as this service did, while others charge by the complexity of the repair.If you have a non-emergency appliance repair, it might be more economical to put it off until another issue develops, that way multiple problems can be dealt with for the for the cost of one service fee
