the Price of Dishwasher Repair

There was some problem with my dishwasher. While switched on, it would make a lot of noise and after some time the noise would disappear but the dishes did not get clean as they used to be when i had firsat used the dishwasher. Since the appliance was not in any sort of warranty or guarantee period, i had to look for a repair man myself. The yellow pages guided me to a repair man who charged me $50 for the entire service.

I was quite satisfied with the service that i received. But still, i guess that i had to pay slightly larger amount for the service. The repair man was quite an expert an immediately found the fault. There was some problem with the motor. He opened the motor and repaired it on the spot. The entire jo was completed in about half an hour. Although no new part was put, i was still charged $50 for the service.

I not covered under warranty, do not take your faulty dishwasher to the company owned service centre as it is a very costly option. Secondly, do verify the price of the service from some plaes before actually going for any particular repair shop. For this, yellow pages is the best option.
