Description of service
The heating element in the dishwasher was not working to dry the dishes. Our dishwasher was still under warranty, so we only had to pay $50.00 for a service call and all other labor and parts were free. The service technician came out in the morning and was done by lunch time. He had to replace the heating part completely. He said that it must have been faulty as they very rarely break and usually last the life of the dishwasher.
Review of Service
I had no issues with this service. The technician was really friendly, arrived on time, knew what he was doing, and got done as efficiently as possible. It was really a no-hassle transaction. The only thing that I did not like was the fact that it took them two weeks to come to my house. I think that warranty calls do not give them any money so they put you on the bottom of the list when scheduling you.
Tips
If you are buying a cheaper make/model of dishwasher, definitely opt in for the extended warranty if you are offered it. We only paid an additional $20.00 for the extension of our warranty when the manufacturers warranty ran out and it was only two month after that we had the breakdown!
