Description of service
When my dish washer was not working properly I called the service centre and asked them to come for repairing the dishwasher. They had come only after constant reminding for two to three days and finally when they arrived they checked the dishwasher by putting the switch on and checking the cables they told that it need to be checked in detail and need to be carried to the service center. They took the dishwasher to the service center after two days and checked the various internal parts and found that the motor belt needed to be changed.
Since the dishwasher was 3 years since its purchase it had no guarantee so I had to pay dollar 50 for getting the belt replaced after the belt was replaced it was delivered to my home and they charged dollar 10 as delivery charge. Altogether it cost me dollar 60 and what I feel is that the services where not timely and systematic. There was a lot of delay in getting the dishwasher repaired. Even though the dishwasher is working properly the delay in the repair was what had concerned me. They have charged sales tax of dollar 6 from the total amount of dollar 50 that I have paid to get the dishwasher repaired. All together it cost me 60 dollars which I feel is very high.
Review of Service
I have got my dish washer repaired as it had stopped functioning properly. I have contacted the service center and told them the problem, they registered my complain and told that the problem would be solved within 24 hours but they failed to keep their promise and I waited for about two days for their response but they did not call me at all. It was then that I decided to call them and refer to the complaint. They apologized and said that they would send a mechanic as soon as possible and then after two days a mechanic came to check the problem and said that the dishwasher need to be taken to the service center.
The dishwasher was taken to the service center for repair and when the parts where inspected they found that the motor belt was worn out and need to be changed. Then after two weeks they delivered the dishwasher to my home after repairing. I was really annoyed with the delay of repairing and the high charges of repair. They even charged for the delivery. I had to constantly call the service center and remind them to repair my dishwasher. I was fed up of giving it for repair and not at all satisfied with their services.
Tips
If your dishwasher has got a problem then getting them repaired is really very tough especially if the service centers are lagging and are not prompt. Most of the service centers are very irresponsible and causes unexplained delays in repairing. In such cases it is better that you contact the higher level or the managing levels of personal and report your complaint.
Contacting the higher level and then threatening the service centers will definitely help you out to solve the delay and make the service centers prompt. If the service center personals behave badly then you need to report such instances and ask them to behave properly. It is the right of every customer to get their products repaired in the most customer friendly manner. You are spending a lot of money purchasing a product hence you have the right to get it repaired and all the repairs need to be dealt with promptness and systematically. You are paying more at authorized service centers hence you also have the right to get the most satisfying services from their part.
Always ask about the charges including the delivery charges before getting your dishwasher repaired and also remember to ask for a bill so that you can refer them in case of fault repair.
